Abstract
This study aimed at evaluation Arabic language book
"Lughati Al-Khalida" for the first intermediate level in the
light of Quality standards for School book designing in
general , and particular for Arabic text book, the researcher
used an analytical and descriptive methods, the research
sample include ( introduction - general design - and
technical form and layout) - content - activities and
educational means - evaluation methods) which was
included in the first intermediate Arabic language book, first
semester for the academic year 2013-2014, the researcher
have applied a tool to evaluate the book which was a
questionnaire for book design quality standards, the study
results as follows:
There are a set of standards which must be available in
the Arabic Language book for first grade intermediate
school, the quality standards acheved high score for (
evaluation methods, activities and educational means -
